The Federal Bikes Rim Strip - 35mm (Width) is made of heavy duty vinyl and with a width of 35 mm this rim stripe will only fit to rims with a width of 40mm like the Federal Bikes "Stance XL" Rim. The purpose for the use of a rim strip is to protect the hose from the sharp edges inside the rim when inflated.
